“After listening to the Coolie story, I wanted to play the Simon character, as it was such a stylish and fantastic role. Lokesh Kanagaraj took six months to finalize Nagarjuna for the role. I was shocked to know that he accepted the role. After seeing Nagarjuna’s performance, even I thought, “Could I have done it like that?” Nagarjuna gave a terrific performance as Simon, and it is the major highlight of the film.”
