For the past few months, there has been strong buzz about a possible relationship between Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur. Reports even suggested that the two would soon get married. However, in her latest interview, Mrunal Thakur has firmly denied all wedding rumours.
In a recent interaction, when the Sita Ramam actress was asked about her marriage plans, she clearly said “no.”
Mrunal says the whole wedding rumor thing is making her feel uneasy
“I think February 14 is going to turn into April 1 — April Fools’ Day — because I don’t know who started this. It’s a scary space right now because some people are spreading rumours that ‘Mrunal officially confirmed her marriage,’” she said.
Rumours about Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush began after the two were seen hugging at the premiere of Son of Sardaar 2, which sparked dating speculation.
On the professional front, Mrunal will next be seen alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi in the romantic drama Do Deewane Seher Mein, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 20, 2026. She also has the Telugu–Hindi bilingual film Dacoit, co-starring Adivi Sesh.
