Malayalam Actor Mohanlal is making his directorial debut with a film titled Barroz. This film is currently under pre-production stage. But Barroz is said to have attracted trouble over a copyright issue. A person named George Thundiparambil alleged has approached court to issue a prohibitory injunction blocking the release of Barroz. Mohanlal would now have to deal with these legal issues.
This person felt that Barroz was lifted from his novel Maya. Barroz is a children revolved fantasy film which also has Mohanlal playing a pivotal role. The film has been in production stage for a long period and should be releasing this year. But this legal trouble might delay the film a bit more.
On the other hand, Mohanlal was recently involved in a controversy that shook the Malayalam Film Industry. The Actors Body Association led by him was dissolved after a series of sexual allegations being accused by Actresses in Mollywood. The Actor even distanced himself from the body and the controversy later.
