Nagarjuna’s Mass joined the list of recent re-releases and will hit the big screens on Nagarjuna’s birthday on August 29th. Mass has a good following among cine lovers and the film’s chartbuster music and Nagarjuna’s action and emotional performance made it a massive success 20 years ago. Unfortunately, Mass re-release has not managed to evoke much interest from film lovers.
Last year Manmadhudu was re-released and it did an excellent job at the box office. This year, unfortunately, Mass is not doing well in any way and only hardcore fans are showing interest in this film. Mass re-release is scheduled tomorrow and booking opened for limited shows. Even those bookings are poor.
The total advance bookings for the film are in the range of 10L which tells the level of interest the movie has generated. Many fans are now feeling that the team should have gone for Shiva re-release instead of Mass. This year’s re-release for Nagarjuna has not turned put well for the fans and is a total disappointment.
