Director Mani Ratnam, who recently faced a big failure with Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, is set to collaborate once again with Vijay Sethupathi for his upcoming film. It is widely known that they have previously collaborated for Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018).
The script for this project was initially narrated to Silambarasan TR, who was also a part of Thug Life, but due to STR’s packed schedule with his current film Arasan, Mani Ratnam has decided to move forward with Vijay Sethupathi as the lead.
Pre-production activities for the film are already underway. Rukmini Vasanth is said to be in final talks for the lead actress, who has already worked with Sethupathi in Ace. The other cast and crew details are expected to be revealed soon.
