Kollywood Director Mani Ratnam is currently gearing up with his film, Thug Life, which is scheduled for release on June 5th worldwide. The duo had earlier worked on their film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam released in 2018. Fans and Audience have already put high hopes on Thug Life and expect it to become a big blockbuster. Now, the latest news is that the Director has signed Simbu yet again for another film.
Both Simbu and Mani Ratnam have done many romantic films, earning a special following among the audience. However, both their films, Thug Life and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, had a gangster genre, which didn’t satisfy the romance genre-loving audience. But their wishes have been heard now as the upcoming film is known to be a romantic one.
Happening Actress Rukmini Vasanth is also said to have come on board the film to play the female lead role. It is also learnt that Lyca Productions will be producing the film. Further details of the film will be announced soon.
