The centenary birth celebrations of SR NTR is one of the most talked about topics among the Telugu States People. In an unexpected situation, senior character artist Kalyani made a controversial remark about SR NTR context, and she is now facing disciplinary measures for the same.

The actress is popularly known as Karate Kalyani and she also happens to be the member of MAA (Movie Artists Association). She spoke about the NTR statue (in lord Sri Krishna avatar) which was proposed to be built in Khammam, she said comparing NTR to Lord Krishna is a foolish act. She said it is nothing but belittling Lord Krishna to compare NTR to him.

As a result, Karate Kalyani is now facing disciplinary action from MAA. Manchu Vishnu, the president of MAA sent show cause notices to Karate Kalyani over her comments.

In the Notice it was mentioned that being an actress herself and also a member of MAA, how can Karate Kalyani could make such comments against a roaring personality like NTR who is a pioneer of Tollywood. It was also mentioned that she is answerable to this act within 3 days, otherwise she will have to face disciplinary action for her act.

Apart from acting, Karate Kalyani is known for small-time controversies, but this time the actress has smeared the legendary NTR at the worst possible moment, which is why she is facing disciplinary action for the same thing now.
