Malayalam senior star hero Mammootty has played a wide range of characters in his career, but still at this age (74), he strives to excel as an actor, and in his latest film, KalamKaval, he played the character of a psycho killer. Though his experiment paid off, the film missed its expected target at the box office.
As said above, Mammootty has been continuously experimenting and delivering super hits and blockbusters in his career. But there is one milestone that is still missing in his pocket; that is the ₹100 Cr club.
Based on the first-week collections, KalamKaval was expected to enter it for sure, but the second weekend did not see the expected jump. After the second weekend, the film’s worldwide gross stands at around ₹76 Cr and is likely to end up as Mammootty’s biggest, finishing in the ₹90 Cr range, missing the three-figure club by a short margin
