Madha Gaja Raja is heading towards a Sensational Blockbuster. No one expected that a film that was delayed for 12 years would become a success at the box office. Directed by Sundar C, and starring Vishal, Madha Gaja Raja was announced for 2013 release.
However, due to many reasons it was continuously postponed and finally released in theaters for this Sankranthi/Pongal with Vidaamuyarchi getting postponed. Normally, these kinds of delayed films fail to bring even a basic number of audiences to the theaters.
But Madha Gaja Raja is doing very big at Tamil Nadu’s box office. It started with around 3 Cr gross, and the 2nd day also maintained the same level and on the 3rd day, which is a festival day, it collected more than the combined gross of day 1 and day 2. For 3 days the film gross is around 14 Cr and at this pace, it is expected to do more than 40 Cr gross in Tamil Nadu which is very huge for the film.
All other Sankranthi releases in Tamil Nadu are struggling to get good numbers, including Game Changer which added a big advantage for Madha Gaja Raja. Vishal fans are delighted as Madha Gaja Raja is heading towards a Sensational Blockbuster.
