The latest Malayalam blockbuster Lokah already turned into an industry hit (285 Cr Gross) at the worldwide box office a few days and it achieves another benchmark as it becomes the biggest grosser at Indian box office.
By breaking Empuraan’s worldwide gross, the female superhero became the highest grosser for Malayalam cinema but it did not create the same record in India.
Lokah crosses Manjummel Boys’ Gross in India
With its phenomenal performance in Tamil Nadu, Manjummel Boys became the biggest grosser in India with 168 Cr gross is biggest grosser. Today Lokah breaks this as it crosses 170 Cr gross and becomes the biggest grosser in India along with worldwide.
Now, there is only one target left for the film, which is becoming the biggest grosser in Kerala.
Until now, Lokah: Chapter 1 Chandra’s Kerala gross stands at 110 Cr, and it needs another 9 Cr to achieve the biggest grosser by breaking Mohanlal’s Thudarum.
