The rest of the story is all about how this young pair faces the challenges of love in a funny way.

Mouli Tanuj Prashanth excels in the character of Akhil and leads the film from start to end with his one-of-a-kind comedy timing. Shivani Nagaram makes a strong impact, while Rajeev Kanakala, SS Kanchi, Anitha Chowdary, Sathya Krishnan, and others are perfect. Jai Krishna and Nikhil Abburi are good as the hero’s friends.

Analysis:

Directed by Sai Marthand, Little Hearts is a simple take on two youngsters, who are good for nothing, at least in their families’ eyes. The narrative shows their love journey with a fun touch alongside a few effective parts. The dialogues are playfully crafted to bring out laughs in almost every scene.

Marthand also makes sure that the film’s impact does not get too light by having some heartfelt lines from the hero about why his girlfriend/lover is worth the fight and waiting. The final moments bring completeness to the film.

There’s this hilarious song sequence in the second half that pokes fun at mainstream movie promos, and it even gives a nod to the Prema Desam track ‘Hello Doctor’ with a Shah Rukh Khan-style Happy New Year hairstyle. The director uses this funny moment twice in the film, which brings the same impact on both occasions.

Sinjith Yerramilli’s tunes totally match the film’s fun vibe, from the songs to the background music.

  • A Few Repetitive Parts

Little Hearts Movie Review and Verdict:

Sai Marthand’s Little Hearts is a simple/fun ride with many hilarious moments. The performances, music, and comedy work well for the film, though it appears too casual and drags a bit here and there.
