Everyone is aware that the latest romantic entertainer starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, Kushi was released on September 1St week and opened to a decent word of mouth and mixed performance at the box office. Though the film performed well in a few areas like Nizam, Rest of India and Overseas, overall, , it resulted as a failure at the box office. Now because of its poor collections there are limited number of theaters and shows for Kushi on its 2nd weekend.

As said above, the movie did not perform well in weekdays after the first weekend and at the same time, new films like Jawan and Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty have opened with positive reviews, so the shows and theaters are being added for these two movies by cancelling the Kushi theaters and shows The film is running in very limited theaters on this weekend which indicates its box office run coming to an end faster than expected.

Kushi also stars Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. It is a pan-India release with it hitting the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Fans were eager to catch Vijay in a romantic role after a long time and with Samantha’s presence, there was greater curiosity as to how this pair will look on screen, but Shiva Nirvana’s narration and the film’s dip in tempo in the second half made the audience feel detached.
