After a sensational weekend at the box office, Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa holds very well in Telugu on day 4. This is for sure good news for the makers. While Kuberaa’s Telugu version eyes the 100 Cr Club, the Tamil version struggles at the box office.
Coming to the Telugu version, the film’s collections saw a growth with each show on day 4, which is a very positive sign. For 4 days, the Telugu version’s gross is close to 65 Cr, and it has a high potential to do 100 Cr alone in the Telugu version.
However, Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa’s Telugu version eyes the 100 Cr Club, while the Tamil version struggles at the box office. Right from day 1, the film failed to meet the expectations with regard to the Tamil version’s theatrical performance.
Despite having Dhanush as the lead, the film had a below-par weekend at the box office, and on Monday it saw a very big drop.
Looking at the trend, the film might even struggle to cross 25 Cr in Tamil Nadu in its closing. Not only in Tamil Nadu, but the Tamil version did not perform well even in Kerala, overseas, and Karnataka, which are strong territories for Tamil.
