Vijay Devarakonda’s Kingdom gears up for a big release this Thursday. The film’s trailer worked so well for it, and the pre-release event last night was also successful with Anirudh’s performance and his positive review for the film.
The movie was censored with U/A with a runtime of 160 minutes. Some shots that show bloodshed were replaced, as the makers wanted a U/A certificate.
The Break-Even Target of Kingdom
The Nizam rights of the film were sold for 15 Cr, with Andhra [6 Territories] going for 15 Cr and Ceeded 6 Cr. Total Telugu states pre-business stand at 36 Cr, and Kingdom’s worldwide Telugu version’s break-even value is 50 Cr.
Trailer Raises the Buzz for Kingdom: Needs a Positive WOM to achieve Break-Even Target
The makers somehow did not do much promotion in other languages, and we need to see how the movie fares there.
The digital rights of the film have been bought by Netflix for all languages for a big price of 50 Cr.
So, all in all, Vijay Deveerakonda’s Kingdom pre-release event last night sustained the buzz that it generated after the trailer’s release, and the advance ticket sales are also good for the film.
Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, the film can achieve its break-even target if it receives positive WOM from audiences and critics.
