Story: Krishna Mehra (Tabu), an officer with the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), embarks on a quest to avenge the murder of her lover, who was a spy for National Security Intelligence. She also watches over Charu (Wamiqa Gabbi), Ravi’s wife. Was KM successful in her mission? Does Charu get to know the truth about Ravi? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Performances: Tabu did what was required for the role and Wamiqa, Ali Fazal, Ashish Vidyarthi were appropriate in their roles. Azmeri Haque Badhon was exceptional in her role, and she had the best impact among all the actors with her charming performance.

Positives:

  • Main Plot
  • Few Gripping Scenes
  • Azmeri Haque Badhon’s Performance

Negatives:

  • Sluggish Narrative
  • No Thrills
  • Hurried Climax

Verdict:

Overall, Khufiya is not such a bad movie, but with such a talented cast and a director like Vishal Bharadwaj, this movie could have been much better for its potential. It can be watched at leisure without many expectations of its interesting plot and some well-conceived scenes.
