Actress Keerthy Suresh is gearing up to entertain audiences with her upcoming film Revolver Rani, releasing in theaters on November 28th. While fans were also waiting for her next project Yellamma, Keerthy Suresh has now given a shocking update that she is not part of the film.
Comedian Venu Yeldandi, who turned director with Balagam and scored huge success along with several awards, later worked on a script titled Yellamma. The project was initially planned with Nani and Sai Pallavi under Dil Raju Productions, but due to their busy schedules, both walked out. Nani then suggested Nithiin for the lead role, and the actor accepted. The film was confirmed before Thammudu’s release, but after the film’s failure, Nithiin also stepped away.
Recently, industry sources revealed that music director Devi Sri Prasad is set to make his acting debut with Yellamma, and Keerthy Suresh was expected to play the female lead. Reports suggested that all issues had been resolved and the shoot was scheduled to begin in January 2026.
However, during promotions for Revolver Rani, Keerthy shocked fans by announcing that she is not doing Yellamma. With her exit, the big question now is who will be cast as the lead actress in this much-awaited film?
