Starring Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameshwaran in lead roles, Karthikeya 2 is a fantasy adventure film directed by Chandoo Mundeti. A sequel to Karthikeya (2014), it was jointly produced by People Media Factory and Abishek Agarwal Arts.
It received positive reviews upon release and emerged as a blockbuster not only in its original Telugu version but also in Hindi. Even on the streaming platforms, it received record viewership with high praise for the devotional theme, Kala Bhairava’s background score, and performances of the cast.
Appreciating the effort of the makers for bringing such a beautiful tale of Shri Krishna, the Indian government has felicitated the makers with ‘Best Film in Telugu’ at the 70th National Awards.
