The overseas distributor officially announced that the first showing of the film will start at 9:30 AM EST, and according to the Indian timings, it will be 7 pm IST on 1st October.

So, Kantara Chapter One’s first show in the world’s timing is out, and the audience’s verdict will be out before the release day itself, as the movie will arrive on 2nd October in theaters.
This might also be the sign that the makers plan the paid premieres across India as well, similar to the pan-Indian films like Baahubali 2 and Pushpa 2, which had paid premieres in India before the release night.
