Kantara Chapter 1 achieves Tamil Break Even Kantara Chapter 1 Blockbuster in Tamil Nadu However, the Tamil Nadu performance of Kantara Chapter 1 surprises everyone. Despite the new releases arriving during the Diwali festival, the spiritual action drama is continuously posting strong numbers. For 20 days the film has crossed the 60 Cr gross mark in Tamil Nadu and achieved breakeven and entered the profit zone, and it will not settle here and is expected to do more than 75 Cr gross in its full run, as the run is fantastic for the film despite facing new releases like Dude and Bison. The best part is, the Kantara prequel has not only performed well in Tamil Nadu, but it also did superb numbers in the overseas territories as well. Rishab Shetty's much-appreciated film has put massive numbers in all areas. It grossed 50 Cr in Kerala, a feat that very few dubbed films have been able to achieve.

Kantara Chapter 1 is sensational in its home state of Karnataka, with the film achieving tremendous and extraordinary numbers. After a sensational opening weekend, the film posted double-digit gross collections on the 1st Monday. 

The total 5-day gross of the film in Karnataka goes past 90 Cr, and Tuesday advances are much better than Monday, which means Rishab Shetty’s spiritual action drama is set for huge numbers today.

Today the film will cross the 100 Cr milestone and become the all-time fastest ever for the Kannada film industry.

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has been a sensational success in Karnataka from the very first day. The film is all set to achieve the first 200 Cr milestone for Karnataka and, judging by the current trend, it might even reach the 250 Cr mark.

Other than Karnataka, Kantara prequel is holding good collections in other territories as well. On Monday, the film collected more than 40 Cr, taking the overall worldwide total number for 5 days to 370 Cr.
