Manchu Vishnu’s dream project, Kannappa, was released in theaters last month. Though the film had a good opening and decent reviews, it did not achieve the desired result. Now, Kannappa is set for OTT release.
Before the release, Vishnu did not sell the film to any digital platform because negotiations did not work out. The movie was released in June and opened well, but failed to continue the momentum and ended up as a failure at the box office.
Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa on Prime Video This Weekend
The buzz is that Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa is set for OTT release. Reportedly, the film’s digital rights have been bagged by Prime Video, and South languages are expected to stream by this weekend itself.
Because the movie had an 8-week theatrical window, the Hindi version will be available for streaming from the end of August.
Kannappa movie is expected to get a good response upon its OTT release because of the genre and huge star cast.
