Kanguva starring Suriya and directed by Siva is the most awaited project this year from Kollywood. The teaser and song released till now have raised expectations. Fans and Audience have been waiting for the trailer so long. Kanguva’s trailer has dropped today and it looks not so impressive overall.
The trailer showcased the visual spectacle of the film with a fight between two groups. Bobby Deol plays the baddie role and Suriya was seen fighting his group. The visuals looked repetitive and offered nothing big. The trailer mostly concentrated on the primitive age nativity. However, the team didn’t focus on showing the modern-day age character of Suriya. This character looks like a surprise offered only in the film’s theatrical part. The final shot of the trailer also looks as the cameo of Karthi as speculated.
Devi Sri Prasad’s Background Music also felt okayish. No character other than Suriya and Bobby Deol were shown in the film. Disha Patani, the female lead role’s character was also hidden. This is not a proper way of planning by the team. Whole of Kanguva’s promos feels like repetitive till now. The team must come up with something exciting content atleast in the pre-release event. Kanguva is scheduled for release on 10th October which was also confirmed in this trailer.
