Raghava Lawrence was last seen in Chandramukhi-2 (2022), a horror comedy helmed by P. Vasu. His last directional venture was, however, Akshay Kumar’s Laxmii (2020), a Hindi remake of Kanchana (2011). He will be next seen in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ starring ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay.
Besides this, a fourth installment in the Kanchana franchise is on the cards. This morning, an official announcement was made regarding the same. Titled ‘Kanchana-4’, it is bankrolled by Lawrence’s own Raghavendra Productions.
Though the cast of the project has not been announced yet, Lawrence is expected to star (as the lead actor) besides directing this horror-comedy flick. The announcement also states that Kanchana-4 will go on floors in September 2024. All the three films in this franchise have been successfull at the box-office so far.
