Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth Impressed by Parasakthi

Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi has seen a drop in collections after a strong opening weekend, but the film has received praise from Tamil cinema legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Now, the fans hope that the film turns this appreciation into box office collections.

At a recent event, Sivakarthikeyan shared his experience and said, “After watching Parasakthi, Kamal Haasan sir appreciated my performance for five minutes. For Amaran, it was only two to three minutes. Superstar Rajinikanth also called Parasakthi a very bold film, praised the second half, and appreciated my performance.”

Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi needs a significant jump in collections during the festival weekend

Despite this appreciation, the film has received a mixed response from audiences. As a result, collections dropped yesterday and continued to decline today after a good opening weekend. But the period political drama is expected to see a strong jump in collections starting tomorrow as the festival season begins.

In its first three days, Parasakthi has collected over ₹50 crore gross worldwide. To achieve hit status, the film needs to cross ₹150 crore gross globally. This means it requires a significant rise in collections from tomorrow.

A major advantage for the film is that Vijay’s Jana Nayagan has been postponed, allowing Parasakthi to fully benefit from the festive holiday period.
