By the end of the third weekend, Kalki 2898 AD is able to hit the reputed 1000 crore mark worldwide.
Kalki 2898 AD also became the second film of Prabhas to hit 500 and 1000 crores worldwide apart from the Baahubali Series. It also stands as his solo highest grosser of Prabhas without the brand of SS Rajamouli. The film also becomes the third 1000 crore grosser from Tollywood after Baahubali Series and RRR both directed by SS Rajamouli. This is a sensational achievement. It will also be the fourth highest grosser across the south only next to KGF Chapter 2 which grossed nearly 1200 crores worldwide.
Till now, Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, KGF Chapter 2, Pathaan and Jawaan had managed to gross 1000 crore worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan is also the only actor to have two consecutive 1000 crore grossers alongwith Prabhas. SS Rajamouli also stands as the only Director to have two 1000 crores grossers.
