At the recent success meet of Little Hearts, producer Bandla Ganesh made some indirect and unnecessary comments that appeared to target senior producer Allu Aravind. The remarks sparked discussion, but Aravind responded with maturity during the press meet of Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend.
While speaking at the Little Hearts event, Bandla Ganesh said, “Only one person in a hundred crores is born as the son of a star comedian, the brother-in-law of a megastar, and the father of an iconic star.” Though he may have intended to talk about luck and destiny in the film industry, his tone came across as disrespectful.
Despite the comment, many in the industry recognize Allu Aravind for his own achievements. He has built a strong reputation through the quality of films he has produced and has played a key role in introducing many directors, producers, and actors to the Telugu film industry.
The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran and starring Rashmika Mandanna, is produced by Geetha Arts in collaboration with Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments. During the film’s pre-release press meet, a journalist asked Aravind if he felt hurt by Bandla Ganesh’s comments. Aravind calmly replied that he holds a certain stature and doesn’t feel the need to respond to such comments.
With just that one dignified response, Allu Aravind earned praise from the public and netizens, who appreciated his maturity in handling the situation.
