KVN Productions released a captivating 5-and-a-half-minute teaser for the upcoming audio launch event of Jana Nayagan, set to take place on December 27, 2025, at Malaysia’s Bukit Jalil Stadium, boasting a capacity of over 87,500 and recognized as the largest venue in Southeast Asia.
Anirudh will perform a concert at the event. Vijay declared his retirement from films, marking this promotional event as the final one for his movie. Hosting the event outside India was a smart move by the producers.
With Mamitha Baiju and Pooja Hegde taking on significant roles, this film is rumored to be a remake of the Nandamuri Balakrishna film Bhagavanth Kesari, scheduled to premiere in cinemas on January 9, 2026, ahead of the Sankranti/Pongal festival. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical rights to the film.
