Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, Jana Nayagan, is facing unexpected issues regarding the censor process,, and the problem is yet to resolve, as the hearing of the film’s case is postponed to tomorrow.
After completing post-production work, the team of Jana Nayagan submitted the film for censor certification last month. On December 19, the censor board watched the movie and asked the team to remove a few scenes and mute some dialogues.
The production house made the required changes and resubmitted the film. The censor formalities are also said to be completed, but the censor certificate has still not been issued.
With just three days left for the release, the producers have approached the court over the delay. The judge has asked them to file a petition and said they will hear the matter this afternoon.
But shockingly, the hearing regarding the censor certificate will proceed tomorrow at the Madras High Court. The judgment is not out yet. It appears that release-related issues for Jana Nayagan may extend until the last minute.
