The film will reach Prime Video while it is still running in theatres, in its fourth week.
A Historic Theatrical Run
Jailer 2 arrives on OTT as the biggest Tamil film ever. In three weeks, it has collected ₹816 Cr gross worldwide, becoming Kollywood’s first ₹800 Cr film.

Theatre Run Still On
Even with the OTT date fixed, Jailer 2 still has a few days of its theatrical run to make the most of. The Diwali holidays this weekend give it one more big window, and it is close to crossing ₹100 Cr gross in both the Telugu states and Karnataka.
Those milestones will now depend on how well the film holds this week, before it starts streaming on November 12.
Huge Wait for OTT Audiences
For audiences who missed it in theatres, or who want to watch it again, the Prime Video release is big news. With five languages available, Jailer 2 is set to reach a huge audience across India and around the world.
