Prasanth Varma’s Jai Hanuman, the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster HanuMan (2024), was first announced with a small tease at the end of the film. After keeping the fans waiting for a long time with a few updates in between, the film is finally set to begin its shoot.
Jai Hanuman will be part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), with Rishab Shetty playing the powerful role of Lord Hanuman. Director Prasanth Varma has reportedly spent over a year carefully developing the script to ensure the sequel lives up to expectations.
The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who are backing the project on a grand scale.
The official launch of Prasanth Varma’s Jai Hanuman will take place on February 22 in Hampi with a traditional pooja ceremony, attended by the main cast and crew. The regular shoot is scheduled to begin in March, and the release date will be announced after the completion of filming.
With several top technicians on board and strong production support, Jai Hanuman is shaping up to be an ambitious pan-Indian venture.
