Dhanush recently came up with his directorial, Idli Kadai, in which he also acted as the lead, and it is all set to make its OTT debut on Netflix. Though the film did not do well in Telugu, it did decent numbers in Tamil with the help of good reviews.
In Tamil Nadu, the movie collected close to 50 Cr gross and worldwide around 70 Cr gross. Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 affected the film’s theatrical run.
The OTT giant, Netflix, officially announced that Dhanush’s Idli Kadai on Netflix will be out on 29 October in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The film is expected to get a better response upon its digital release. As said above, Tamil audiences gave it a decent response, as it consists of village nativity elements and emotional aspects.
