iBomma Ravi, who was arrested in the piracy case and sent to Chanchalguda Jail on remand, has once again been given to police custody as per the orders of the Nampally Court.
Earlier, with the court’s permission, the police had already taken iBomma Ravi into custody twice and questioned him for a total of eight days.
A total of four separate cases have been filed against him, and since there are still things that need to be clarified, the police need to learn from Ravi and collect additional evidence. That is why they requested the court for additional custody. The court has now allowed another three days of police custody
Meanwhile, the hearing on Ravi’s bail petition is still going on. Due to the fresh custody orders, the bail hearing has been postponed to next Monday.
Following the court’s approval, the police will take Ravi from Chanchalguda Jail into custody tomorrow morning.
