Kantara Chapter 1: A Potentially Big Blockbuster Loading For Hombale Films
Meanwhile, after the huge success of Kantara, Rishab Shetty, the actor-director, is now busy with its prequel, Kantara Chapter 1, set to release in theaters on October 2, 2025.
Team Hombale is all set to score another Pan-Indian blockbuster with this film. Rukmini Vasanth takes on a key role in the film, and her first-look poster was released recently. She appears as Kanakavathi in this highly anticipated movie, and the poster suggests the actress could be playing a gorgeous princess.
Set in coastal Karnataka before colonization, the film dives into the rich traditions of the Bhuta Kola ritual and the legendary tales of land guardians. The music comes from Ajaneesh Lokanath.
