Ace Tamil music director Harris Jayaraj is the new addition to Niithin and Vakkantham Vamsi’s untitled project. Harris Jayaraj is one of the most popular music directors in the Indian film industry, some of his chartbusters include Ghajini,7th Sense, and one of Telugu cinema’s best soundtrack album, Orange.

This is Vakkantham Vamsi’s second directorial after Naa Peru Surya with Allu Arjun, but he is no stranger to blockbusters. He has written screenplays for some of the biggest stars in Telugu cinema. He has written the screenplay of Kick, Race Gurram, and Temper which were all blockbusters at the box office.

Now, the writer-director is back wearing the director’s hat for Niithin’s next film. This will be an interesting collaboration as Vakkantham Vamsi usually writes either action dramas or comedy thrillers, whereas Niithin’s track records of thrillers have been terrible.

For instance, Lie and Check failed miserably at the box office, whereas Maestro was poorly received on OTT. Niithin’s hits have mostly only been romantic comedies, for example, Ishq, Gunde Jari Gallanthayyinde, Bheeshma, and so on. Niithin will be hoping to turn this around in this film with Vakkantham Vamsi.

Niithin is also notorious for delivering a run of flops after a few hits. After Ishq, he went through a run of flops and now after Bheeshma, Rang De and Check were flops. He will be hoping to change this as well.
