After being in the filming stage for five years, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs. Spirit arrived in theaters today and opened to not-so-good reviews. Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 1 box office estimates are out now.
This periodic action drama opens very big with premieres, and it collected close to 20 Cr gross. Despite opening with a unanimous negative WOM from premieres/day 1, the film managed to collect good collections in India, while overseas, it disappointed a bit.
Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 1 box office estimates are out now, and they are close to 75 Cr gross worldwide, which is a very good opening. The theatrical breakeven value for the distributors is at 200 Cr gross.
So, the movie’s recovery is more than 1/3rd of the break-even value on the opening day. However, the concern is that the second-day bookings are very poor, and the film needs to post good numbers till the weekend at least.
