The Telugu cinema industry faced another big failure with Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1—Sword vs. Spirit. The producer of the film was already in a bad position, and now even the buyers are in crisis because of Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Normally for big films, in most cases, the producer will be in a comfortable zone with good profits. So if the movie fails, then the producer will be able to compensate some of the losses for the distributors.

But in the case of HHVM, the producer has already released the film at a deficit. The buyers are now in danger of losing around 50% of their invested amounts, but looking at the producer’s current financial condition, compensating the buyers is not at all possible.
Also, AM Ratnam does not have any other movies in the lineup to compensate for the losses or to take out the buyers from deep trouble.
This was the main reason for distributors not showing interest in buying the film for record prices at the initial stage.
But at the last minute of release, AM Ratnam sold the film for moderate prices, but as the WOM was unanimously negative, even with moderate prices, buyers faced huge losses because of Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
