Teja Sajja and Prashanth Varma’s Hanuman have gained a lot of craze through its teaser, trailer, and aggressive promotions. Also, the film was popular because of a few controversies. Hanuman Movie turns out to be Lord Hanuman’s Visual Treat.

Story: A person wants to be a superhero to rule the world with bad intentions, and the film is set in Anjanadri village, where an evil person rules. Lord Hanuman gifts his powers to a normal person to encounter this threat. The story unfolds as this ordinary person saves Anjanadri village and the entire world from an evil-minded aspiring superhero.

Performances: Teja Sajja was good, and his performance was convincing in the role of Hanumanthu. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, and Amrita Aiyer were apt. Getup Srinu and Vennela Kishore were appropriate.

Hanuman Movie Analysis:

The director deals with the first half in a very entertaining and engaging way. Comedy tracks between Teja Sajja and Getup Srinu work hilariously. With Hanuman references, a good interval block, and the introduction of the main villain, the first half is set up very well. Moving to the second half, there is a lag for the first 30 minutes. Villain characterization and brother-sister episodes could have been better, but the movie gains momentum from the pre-climax. The climax is a goosebumps-inducing experience with Hanuman’s terrific presence, followed by excellent BGM.

Positives:

  • Lord Hanuman’s presence
  • Visuals and BGM
  • Lead cast performance
  • Entertainment

Negatives

  • Weak villain characterization
  • Emotional scenes could have been better

Hanuman Movie Review and Verdict:

Hanuman is worth watching on the big screen. It is Lord Hanuman’s Visual Treat. Prashant Varma delivers on his promise, showcasing the mass/superhero human best, engaging the audience with great devotion, and providing goosebumps.
