Vijay’s fans, who are eagerly waiting for the release of Jana Nayagan, have finally received some good news. The Special Leave Petition (SLP) filed by the film’s producers is expected to be listed before the Supreme Court on January 15.
Earlier, the case was scheduled to be heard on January 19, but it has now been advanced to January 15. This comes as good news for both the makers of Jana Nayagan and Vijay’s fans.
The judgment is expected on the same day. If the film receives clearance for censor certification, the makers can comfortably plan for a January 23 release. This date works well, as Republic Day falls on Monday, January 26.
The case will be heard before the bench of the Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant.
