Earlier, Success events for movies used to happen only after the film’s successful performance. The team would gather and conduct a success meet thanking the audience. But now, this trend has changed with the teams conducting success meets irrespective of the film’s result on the release day itself. This would be okay if the film becomes successful but conducting success events even for flop movies looks funny.
The team even after knowing the ill-fate of the film conducting a success event makes it childish. The logic behind this is also not known. It will be embarrassing for the actors and others to attend these fake success events. This has happened recently with Mr. Bachchan which opened with disastrous reviews with premieres shows itself. But still, the team gathered, burned the crackers and celebrated as if Mr. Bachchan became a blockbuster. This was greatly trolled by the netizens.
These fake celebrations in success events woud further deteriorate the film’s prospects. The film would become a troll material with such celebrations by the team. Audience will not come to the theatres with such mindless acts by the teams. It’s better to accept a film’s fate given by the audience and move on rather than faking the verdict only to get trolled even more.
