NTR—Prashanth Neel’s film, tentatively titled Dragon, is one of the most anticipated films for next year, as with the combination itself, the movie carries a massive buzz. The fans are unhappy with the NTR-Neel release date.
The film was initially planned for a 2026 Sankranthi release, which is a very good date as it is a big festival season. But due to a delay in shooting, the film was postponed, and recently, Tark and team officially announced the release date as 25th June, 2026.

The June end release does not offer any public holidays at the release time, and normally, it is not a big season to take any advantage. Another issue is that the film has to do well in global markets, but at that period, many big-budget Hollywood films will be releasing in theaters, which will definitely have an impact on overseas releases and some impact on India too.

So, looking at all these situations, fans are unhappy with the NTR-Neel (Dragon) release date, as they want this film to shake the box office at all markets, and that is why they want it to be released at the best time.
But one advantage for NTR 31 is, as the team locked a normal release date, there will be no competition for the film from any Indian film in all languages, at least for 2 weeks. Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki was also released during the same period and joined the 1000 Cr club. So, NTR-Neel definitely has all the chances to repeat the magic.
