Nagarjuna’s filmography has been quite weak lately. Compared to other senior heroes like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Venkatesh, it does not have a big blockbuster. At one time, Nagarjuna showed the path for senior heroes with blockbusters like Manam, Oopiri, and Soggade Chinni Nayana.
After that, he scores a series of failures such as Ghost, Officer, Wild Dog, and Manmadhudu 2. Last year for Sankranthi, he released Naa Saami Ranga which only worked due to the festive season. Now in senior heroes, Chiranjeevi is signing crazy films and has Vishwambhara set for release. He has signed his next two films with Anil Ravipudi and Dasara director Srikanth Odela. Balakrishna is in terrific form with continuous blockbusters and his latest Daaku Maharaaj is going great guns at the box office.
