Akhanda 2, the next biggie from Tollywood, is aiming pan pan-India markets, and the team has now officially announced that the film will be released in 3D, much to the excitement of fans.
The team recently released its first single. Today, the team revealed a blasting update that Akhanda 2 will be released in 3D format as well. Boyapati Srinu, the director and producer of the film, revealed a 3D poster at Prasad’s IMAX today.
So, the most awaited sequel will be released in both 2D and 3D formats. The theme of Akhanda will definitely be much bigger in the 3D experience, and the makers came up with the right strategy.
The team also screened the 3D converted visuals with a few shots of part 1 and part 2 intro to the audience at the event on Prasad’s screen.

The film has been made as the biggest film in Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’s career, and the makers have spent a record budget on the film; and its business has also been at the same level.
