Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude was released this Diwali, and after a decent theatrical run, the film is unexpectedly registering a shocking response upon its OTT release (on Netflix) from the Telugu audiences.
The film was released in theaters last month with positive buzz, including among Telugu audiences, and initially outperformed other Diwali releases; however, after K-Ramp showed growth, Pradeep’s film ultimately became an average grosser in the Telugu market.
In Tamil, the romantic entertainer did well and collected more than 100 Cr gross worldwide in its full run.

Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Today and Dragon received a superb response from Telugu audiences in theaters, and it was much bigger on OTT.
Compared to those, Dude is kind of a mixed bag result for the actor, as it did average in theaters, and it did not do any better in OTT as well.
