They came up with exact numbers for their present film, Dragon starring Pradeep Ranganathan. Producer of the film, Archana Kalpathi officially reported the numbers of the 1st weekend for Dragon with a clear area-wise break up on X/Twitter.
Many Netizens have praised the frank attitude of the Producer and the team. They also opined that it would be very good if all the producers follow the same attitude by not exaggerating the actual numbers for popularity. They also say that there will be no use in exaggerating the numbers but only attracting unwanted hatred and trolls towards the film and the team.
On the other hand, Dragon is rocking the box office even on the weekdays with a stronghold. The film has already grossed 50 crores as per the makers and is heading towards the 100 crore mark worldwide. The film is also racing towards the $1 Million mark in the US market. If done, this will be a big achievement for Pradeep Ranganathan with his second film as an Actor.
