August 15th was selected as the release date choice for the much awaited film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. But the film opted out of the race by postponing to December 6th. Now, this release date has been occupied by two films, Double Ismart starring Ram Pothineni and Mr. Bachchan starring Ravi Teja. This has become an unwanted clash now.
The team of Double Ismart took no time to fix the release date after the postponement of Pushpa 2. It looked like the film was to have a solo release but Mr. Bachchan entered into the clash. This definitely hurts the team of Double Ismart who wanted to sail over with no competition. The success of Double Ismart is so crucial for both Ram and Puri Jagannadh as both tasted bitter failures with Skanda and Liger.
Mr. Bachchan’s director, Harish Shankar clarified about the clash in the teaser event of Mr. Bachchan yesterday. He said that he never wanted a clash but it happened due to the commitments the team had with OTT platforms and distributors. Harish Shankar also said that Puri Jagannadh was his inspiration and announced his next film being with Ram. The Audience now have to decide the winner.
