Double Ismart and Mr Bachchan are going to release on 15th August with both films aiming for the Independence Day weekend and get off to a solid start. Both films have managed to create good buzz due to their director-hero combination and promotional content so far.
At the moment, it appears that Double Ismart has an edge over Mr Bachchan. Even though Puri Jagan’s recent film Liger failed at the Box office the success of Ismart Shankar has kept the buyers interested. Double Ismart directed by Puri Jagannadh also stars Kavya Thapar and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. The buyers are showing a bigger interest in Double Imsart over Mr Bachchan which is impacting the Harish Shankar- Ravi Teja project.
Double Ismart all languages theatrical rights have been bought by Prime Show Entertainment for 54 Cr. Out of this, the Telugu version worldwide business is valued at 42 Cr – 43 Cr. Andhra [6 territories] business ratio is 18 Cr.
On the other hand, Mr Bachchan Andhra Business ratio is 13 Cr. The total worldwide business is valued near 31 Cr – 32 Cr. Mr Bachchan also stars Bhagyashri Borse who is making her Tollywood debut and Jagapathi Babu. The film is a remake of Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran starter Raid which was released in 2018 and became a box office hit.
