Mohan Babu starrer Son of India is all set to release this weekend. While the entire Manchu family has pinned high expectations on this film, there is absolutely zero interest among the trade circles for this film. Distributors and exhibitors are not at all interested in screening this film.
The film will have its own release in all territories and even theatres. Despite all this, the audience have also shown nil interest in this film. The advance bookings of this film are disastrous, to say the least with many shows selling tickets in single digits.
Mohan Babu himself has written the screenplay of Son of India. The film also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Srikanth, Tanikella Bharani, Ali. Diamond Ratna Babu has directed this film while Maestro Ilaiyaraja has composed the music. Interestingly, Megastar Chiranjeevi has given voice-over for this project. Manchu Vishnu has produced the film under 24 Frames Factory
