Tollywood Producer Dil Raju remained one of the top producers for many years. He worked with almost every top hero in this journey. He initially started as a Distributor and later transformed into a producer which is also well known. The producer suffered setbacks but recovered from them from time to time. But it looks like Dil Raju is witnessing a downfall.
All his recent films didn’t make a big impact. Only Balagam that his daughter produced made profits and became a decent hit. But Dil Raju suffered a big jolt in the form of Family Star starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur. The film gathered a lot of hype before its release but ended as an outright disaster. This was unexpected as the combo of both Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram delivered a big blockbuster in the form of Geetha Govindam. Many thought Family Star would repeat the same success but the opposite happened. His nephew’s film, Love Me also released recently and didn’t quite make it. The film is also heading towards flop status.
Dil Raju’s other film, Game Changer starring Ram Charan is also taking a lot of time for its shoot part. The film directed by Shankar has stuck in a release haul disappointing both Dil Raju and Audiences. So Dil Raju must also concentrate on the film’s outcome and content. Dil Raju also stopped making small-budgeted films aggressively. He needs to make a comeback in these segments to sustain.
