Dhurandhar Loses 100 Cr Amid Ban

So far, Dhurandhar has collected more than ₹800 crore gross worldwide and is now heading towards the ₹1000 crore club. Currently, Jawan and Pushpa 2 hold the record as the highest Hindi grossers with ₹1050 crore gross. Even without a Gulf release, Dhurandhar is aiming to beat this record. With a Gulf release, it could have surpassed the benchmark by a comfortable margin.

Dhurandhar is performing exceptionally well both in India and overseas, moving towards the list of the biggest grossers in every territory it has released, but the film has lost approximately 100 Cr because of a ban in the Gulf.

In the USA, the film has already collected over ₹100 crore gross and is expected to add another ₹30 crore or more during its full run.

The Gulf countries are also among the biggest markets for Bollywood, often matching America’s box office numbers. Had Dhurandhar not faced a ban in the Gulf, trade experts believe it could have easily crossed $10 million (₹100 crore) there as well.
