Dhanush after the blockbuster success of his directorial Raayan putforth his next venture, Idly Kadai starring himself in the lead role. Nithya Menen will be playing the female lead role in the film making it her second collaboration with the Actor after their Thiruchitrambalam. The release date of Idly Kadai has also been locked by the makers.
Idly Kadai will release on 10th April as a Summer bonanza. The shoot of the film is also taking place currently. It is also co-produced by Aakash Baskaran under his Dawn Pictures alongwith Dhanush. G.V. Prakash Kumar is on-board the film as the Music Composer. The summer release date may invite a clash with another film, Suriya44 directed by Karthik Subbaraj which is also currently under shoot.
Dhanush has also linedup his other film, Kubera directed by Sekhar Kammula for release in March next year. And now with Idly Kadai deciding its release date in April, we need to see how both films see a release within a month of gap. This most likely may not be possible and we have to see any of the films getting postponed from this fixed dates.
