Kubera is Dhanush’s costliest film. It is widely known that Telugu Director Shekar Kammula and Tamil actor Dhanush have collaborated for the first time with “Kubera”. The film is scheduled to be released in February 2025, and currently, it is in the final stages of shooting. Meanwhile, there is interesting news about the film’s budget.
Reportedly, the budget of Kubera was supposed to be 90 crore but the final amount is said to have landed at 120 crore. The film’s producer Sunil Narang, refused to disclose the exact amount but he stated that Kubera is Dhanush’s costliest film. The producer praised the working style of Dhanush and Nagarjuna and he also said that the latter has played an almost full-length role in the movie.
Sunil Narang sounded very confident about the film in his latest interview, and he said that Kubera will be one of the costliest films in Tollywood, along with saying that they have a purpose for spending such a big amount for the film. Moreover, the producer informed that Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a new avatar and the film has a universal appeal.
